The Rutte cabinet has fallen and there will be elections in November. The Ivory Cross has included the oral care thermometer in the draft election programmes. Most parties have published a draft election manifesto, only the NSC has not yet done so. The draft election programs still have to be approved by the party members. So they could still make small changes. Most parties (SP, PvdA/GL, BBB, PVV, Party for the Animals, Christenunie and Volt) opt for the inclusion of oral care in basic health insurance. It is disappointing that the VVD only chooses to focus on regions where there is currently a shortage and in the draft election programs of SGP, CDA and D66 nothing is mentioned about this at all. If you yourself or through acquaintances have influence on these parties, you can point this out to them so that they can adjust this now!

Dentist, mental health care and physiotherapy will now also be fully reimbursed.

We will reduce the socio-economic health differences. By focusing more on prevention, including by encouraging sport and combating obesity. Preventive measures whose effectiveness has been demonstrated will from now on be included in the insured package. Oral care with preventive checks for children is improved, including by organizing the dentist from the schools.

PvdA/GL

Affordable care. We are gradually abolishing the deductible. The voluntary deductible will disappear completely. The nominal healthcare premium will be reduced for everyone, so that we can also abolish the healthcare allowance. We are gradually returning oral care, physiotherapy and other forms of necessary care to the basic package so that everyone has access to them again. We are abolishing the personal contribution for maternity care or an outpatient delivery. This way, every child, rich or poor, gets the same chance of a good start. We remove care from the package that care providers say does not work.

BBB

BBB advocates the return of oral care and more physiotherapy in the basic package. Due to high costs, many avoid the dentist, which leads to health issues and social problems.
