In-depth course Gewoon Gaaf for prevention assistants

Of the oral care providers, the (prevention) assistants are the most involved in the implementation of Gewoon Gaaf. That is why the Ivory Cross is starting a course especially for (prevention) assistants. The first course will take place in Naarden on Friday, May 31.

The course is based on the 3 pillars of 'The Caries Prevention Advice' and 'The Additional Caries Prevention Advice', namely: Oral hygiene, Fluoride use and Nutrition. During the course, case studies will be used to practice how to discuss these 3 pillars with the children and their parents via motivational interviewing (MI).
