Prevention on Bonaire

The Ivory Cross was asked by our overseas municipalities of Bonaire, St Eustatius and Saba to provide support in prevention. This in collaboration with the oral care practices there and the Public Entity.
On April 8 and 9, some of our regular teachers from the Prevention Academy provided the Gewoon Gaaf course at all oral care practices on Bonaire. On April 10, Hans Prakken gave a lecture for nurses and professionals in youth care, with an emphasis on children and the elderly. Those present were also reminded of the Ivory Cross education project Keep your mouth healthy!. To carry out this project on Bonaire, 200 cleaning cases were made available by Colgate.
