Together we fight tooth decay – for 115 years!

Since 1909, the Ivoren Kruis has been tirelessly committed to a healthy mouth for everyone. With the support of partners and more than 25 dedicated volunteers per day, we provide more than 5,500 brushing lessons annually at primary schools throughout the Netherlands.

And with success: prevention has ensured that tooth decay in our country has decreased significantly over the past century. Yet caries – the cause of tooth decay – remains the most common non-infectious disease worldwide and in the Netherlands. That has to change.

That's why we say: Caries out of the world!

The Ivory Cross seeks innovative preventive solutions, invests in research and does everything it can to put a stop to tooth decay. But we can't do it alone.
