To maintain oral health, the Ivory Cross Advisory Committee on Oral and Dental Disease Prevention develops recommendations for maintaining oral health. These recommendations describe the content of oral health information and preventive measures. The Ivory Cross promotes the implementation of these recommendations by dentists, dental hygienists, and other healthcare providers.
Het Ivoren Kruis offers practical courses that are inspiring for all players in the dental team, such as dentists, dental hygienists and (prevention) assistants.

In order to be able to guarantee the information provided by the Ivoren Kruis in the future, the Ivoren Kruis works together with partners in the business community. Partners of the Ivoren Kruis sell products that promote oral health or otherwise contribute to improving oral health.
Dental care providers play a vital role in promoting oral health. Ivory Cross has compiled a list of community projects through which dental care providers can make an additional contribution to preventative oral care.
