Ivory Cross advocates for oral care in basic health insurance
On Thursday On November 7, the House of Representatives will meet to discuss the accessibility of (oral) care.
A report by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport calculates the consequences of the possible introduction of five scenarios to improve access to oral care.
Ivoren Kruis sent a letter with recommendations to members of the House of Representatives and strongly advocates scenario number 3, 'Extension of the entitlement to oral care for young people, as referred to in article 2.7, paragraph 4, of the Health Insurance Decree (Bzv), to all insured persons'. "Ivoren Kruis believes that the best way to be assured of 'good care' is effective and efficient oral care that is fully part of the basic health insurance. The scenario to give all insured persons the same entitlement as applies to young people is the simplest step in this."
