  In his presentation, nutritional scientist and professor Jaap Seidell emphasized the relationship between nutrition, oral health and overall health.

  As the founder of the Nexø Method, she presented the history and principles of the Nexø Method, on which Gewoon Gaaf is based.

• Pauline Dekker: Gewoon Gaaf and motivational interviewing cannot exist without each other!
  Well-known as a pulmonologist and active in smoking prevention, Pauline Dekker gave a lively presentation about motivational interviewing in relation to oral health. Including role play with Ivory Cross chairman Albert Feilzer as a patient.

  During the conference, an experienced pediatric dentist shared valuable insights into tackling caries in young children.

  The geriatric dentist focused (as a counterbalance to all lectures about children) on dental care for vulnerable elderly people, discussing mobility problems, forgetfulness and swallowing problems.
