Oral health care providers play an important role in promoting oral health.

Ivoren Kruis has drawn up a list of social projects with which a dental care provider can make an additional contribution to prevention in oral care:

• giving cleaning lessons at schools via Keep your mouth healthy!
• support for food banks, for example via Adopt a smile!
• become a contact person for Doctors Without Borders and/or Doctors of the World
• organizing meetings with colleagues about the KIMO guideline for youth
• become a contact person for Gewoon Gaaf in the region to organize meetings in consultation with the health insurer
• initiating peer consultation of primary care with regard to youth
• contribute to the forthcoming Ivory Cross campaign “Caries out of the world!”
