MondzorgHUB launches JGZ network map × Oral care

With the new JGZ Oral Care guidelines (2025) and the upcoming payment system for dental hygienists at child health clinics (2026), structural collaboration between youth healthcare and oral care is getting closer. The guidelines are clear: every child should visit a dental practice from the moment their first tooth appears. In practice, however, this isn't yet possible everywhere, simply because JGZ teams and dental practices don't always find each other easily.

That is why MondzorgHUB is introducing the Network map JGZ × Oral care, an interactive map that supports regions in creating clear referral routes. The map shows at a glance which dental practices are open to young children (ages 0-4), where child health clinics are located, and where opportunities for collaboration exist.

"With the network map, we want to facilitate successful collaboration nationwide," says co-initiator Peggy van Spreuwel. Denise Leusink adds: "The map saves time, makes partners immediately visible, and helps regions effectively implement the new guideline."

Dental care providers are invited to help strengthen the network. By checking whether their own practice is listed on the map and adding any missing information, the map becomes increasingly complete—and it becomes easier for JGZ teams to find suitable dental care nearby. This way, together we increase the accessibility of preventive dental care for young children.
