Standard oral care cards have been created for use in care and nursing homes that are tailored to different mouths (dentures, own teeth, frame prosthesis, no own teeth).

The eight different standard oral care cards are:
1 own set of teeth with possibly crowns and bridges
2 own teeth and partial denture / frame prosthesis
3 upper jaw prosthesis and lower jaw own teeth
4 upper jaw prosthesis and lower jaw own teeth + frame prosthesis
5 complete denture and oral cavity
6 complete denture and oral cavity and implants
7 in case of swallowing problems and if brushing is not possible
8 terminal phase
