The Caries Prevention advice is intended for anyone who provides professional advice on preventive oral care. The Advice has been drawn up by the Advisory Board for the Prevention of Oral and Dental Diseases of the Ivoren Cross.

The Caries Prevention Advice consists of a Basic Advice and a Supplementary Advice. The Basic Advice is composed of the 3 Basic Advice: Oral Hygiene, Fluoride and Nutrition. Each of these Basic Advices is accompanied by a Supplementary Advice, which together form the Supplementary Caries Prevention Advice. The Basic Advice applies to everyone, while the Additional Advice is intended for people with caries activity.
