          1. Map oral care practices in your area.
            \nThis can be done via the website: Dentists via            https:\/\/tandartsregister.nl\/zoek-tandarts<\/a>

            \nOral care practices that have informed the Ivoren Kruis that they work with the caries prevention method Gewoon Gaaf can be found at             Find a Gewoon Gaaf practice<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. Please contact all<\/em> dental care practices to ask whether they are willing to collaborate. It is important that all oral care practices in your region have the opportunity to participate. In this way, competition for patients is prevented.

              1. If you intend to collaborate, it is important that you are aware of each other's wishes and preconditions with regard to that collaboration.
                \nMap out the preconditions and wishes of both parties (oral care providers and JGZ) for cooperation.

                1. Discuss the findings with the contact persons of the oral care practices.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    \n
                  1. Adjustments to digital child file
                    \nQuestions can be included in the child file regarding: brushing teeth (BDS 188) and visiting the dentist (BDS 190).
                    \nNames and addresses of dental care practices that have indicated that they wish to receive young children can be read into the system.
                    \nProviding oral care can be created in the file as a task, activity or referral. It is important to include a follow-up (at the next child consultation or at the 11-month consultation) to inquire whether the child has actually been to an oral care provider.
                    \nThe letter to the dental care provider is drawn up according to the standard procedure in the data system, as is also customary for other referral letters. The letter must of course be sent in a secure manner (for example via healthcare email).

                        1. Once the collaboration has started, it is a good idea to send a letter indicating how many dental care practices are participating and what the initial experiences are and announcing an evaluation after approximately 6 months.
